The translucent character of the laminated capiz shells that make up the shade of the Neith Sea Pearl Flush Mount create a brightness that perfectly echos the sea pearl finish on the wrought iron that surrounds the top and bottom of the fixture. This is a new finish chosen by Clarence Mallari, who designed the fixture, to reflect the buttery tones in the shell flush mount. He likes the way these work in concert to give the fixture low-level iridescence even when the lights are off.
